30 minutes or less trailer

In a summer full of R-rated comedy, 30 minutes or less is the last out of the door. It is not fulfilling the most moving (bridesmaids), it is not one that offers the most laughs (Horrible Bosses), and it is certainly not the worst (Hangover Part II) . Less than 30 minutes what worked for her is that she is short. It is hardly an ounce of fat on him and he ran from one scene to try to laugh as much as possible. The whole comic does a great job, while director Ruben Fleischer did not show the visual flair, he has demonstrated in Zombieland, it keeps the movie stupid, fast and fun.

Nick (Jesse Eisenberg) is a slacker who has resigned to be a pizza deliveryman. Just because you have problems with their parents or because it has great potential afraid to embrace. It's lazy and lack ambition. Nick has to adjust his attitude to the aspiring criminal minds Dwayne (Danny McBride) and Travis (Nick Swardson) Strap a bomb on his chest and say he has twelve hours to rob a bank or going to blow your chest. Dwayne and Travis wants money to pay a murderer (Michael Peña) to reduce Dwayne is rich ex-Marine father (Fred Ward) and Dwayne can get his inheritance. Nick asks the help of his former best friend Chet and two bumble their way of pulling off the theft and recover the money and minutes or less skilfully Travis.30 Dwayne bounces between its multiple plots within 83 minutes of execution.

You are Nick and Chet, a brief subplot romance between Nick and Chet's sister Kate (Dilshad Vadsaria), Dwayne, and Travis, Chango and Hitman. But almost every scene is able to drive the film forward, and when it slows down, not the actor, whose charisma can bring energy to the next scene. Eisenberg, discarding non-geek person, has become known (essay, because it reached its peak in social networks), and should not be cut so foul-mouthed slacker. He is also young enough that we can not see yet another man-child character of R-rated comedy (that are fun, but they have become all too present). McBride, once again playing the arrogant redneck, and his comic timing and delivery are always excellent, that such a sign is always against her pale skin, Kenny Powers.
The actors truly have the film Ansari and Pena. Chet is probably the straight man of the film, but rather than acting as dry and distant, Ansari gives a manic energy that has been commenting on the ridiculousness of his situation, but actually trying to get out of it too soon as possible. This is one. Fun and natural to remind the audience that the characters are not simply accept that the person is wearing a bomb vest and their lives are in danger Peña is even more surprising because it acts like nothing and becomes a thief from the scene. People viewing Observe and report know that this is a comic force to be reckoned, and 30 minutes or less is a reminder to all that is forgotten. Chango is a professional hitman living in the body of a street thug deceived and that the disparity mines Peña for maximum comic effect every time he opens his mouth.

Sometimes it is the best comedy does not overstay the welcome, and we might be too long accustomed to comedy. Not all comedies are long scenes of Apatownian riffing and emotional arcs. 30 minutes or less behaves like its protagonist, as if he were about to explode.

Note: B

Comedy shows with this strong, it's a bit disappointing to see Fleischer return Zombieland visual flair to put it on the radar screen of people. There is no need to fight against the words to be integrated into the chassis, but for a film that gives images of a clock, the guys in the masks of monkeys, and other images ridiculous, the film will play it ' is safe. But I can understand his desire not to be repeated, and his greatest achievement in this game is to keep the film as thin as possible and let the players brings all the energy.

Even the relatively specialized genre of stoner comedies, for 30 minutes or less is not exactly the cream of the crop. And probably, after the opening scene of the film, gives more than the stoner slacker atmosphere. But the problems of the film, which has numerous, often masked by an eclectic and fun course to run the script that punches above weight class. Eventually, 30 minutes or less theatrical release is more at home watching your favorite beverage at hand.

Nick (Jesse Eisenberg), a 20-something loser who prefer to deliver their pizzas aimlessly for a career that requires a high level of responsibility. His roommate and best friend, Chet (Aziz Ansari), takes a job teaching school, leaving behind all sorts of youthful recklessness as a late night binge drinking, and risky behavior. The transition strain on friendship friends'. But when Nick gets kidnapped and connected to a vest bomb, Chet will rise at the same time becoming his friend support. Together, these two have to rob a bank, in order to save the life of Nick. And as we all know, there's nothing like a bomb and a bank robbery to bring good friends together.

After scoring big with 2009's excellent Zombieland, director Ruben Fleischer follows that the high-concept, the success of this comedy, well cast, but unimaginative, that probably only to find their audience with short attention spans. Laughter is the fragmentation of giggling little over. Arrival in goofy charisma, for 30 minutes or less is just a stupid comedy, but they are soon forgotten.

The melting of stars led by Jesse Eisenberg. Last year, in the social network, Eisenberg moved eccentric anti-leading man actor eccentric, but always unique with leading man potential. Here, Nick manages well, even though it is hardly a challenge. Eisenberg was not able to add some convincing emotions in some key scenes, especially with the beautiful Vadsaria Dilshad, who plays the girlfriend in the film.

Eisenberg as a musician, Ansari can be a great opportunity to show his comic talent, and to do so with mixed results. This is a script that is not him. Nick and Chet duo are a bit 'as two heterosexual men, whose lines run between the same tone as much. Often enjoy each other in a fast and enigmatic dialogue and 'more fun, because delivery of content. And the jokes seem a little 'too inside-the package would help to fill in the details. They are mostly in their bromance jokes and Nick a secret affair with the twin sister of Chet. It can also be a loser, and quick Ansari, who becomes bored by the middle of the film.

It is even more one-dimensional Danny McBride, who plays Dwayne, another ignorant obtuse mind a crazy plan to kill her wealthy father (well played by Fred Ward). At the exit much better is your partner in crime Travis (Nick Swardson), which could be the best written character in the film. McBride, who made a career of talking about their genitals and creating characters and fun disoriented, show a small range. That is too old for this type of paper and must change to another character, as it is beginning to welcome.

The game-changer movie, Michael Peña, who plays a gang banger hired to kill the father of Dwayne. Peña plays his tuned to a criminal somewhere between parody and reality frightening. In a better script, this would be Something Wild Peña, Jonathan Demme's film, which introduced the world to the dark side of Ray Liotta. Here Peña makes a film a bit marginal 'more interesting, and his face-offs, Fred, "Remo Williams" Ward is almost worth the ticket price.

30 minutes or less, is actually directed to a specific audience courted well, films like Pineapple Express and the shopping center. Visual aspect of these films is to replicate here, and the same humor-bong tone is repeated, even if it is sent. Because the fire is not grass, the film is based on a bank robbery is the story. It 'been a controversial history connected to real-world events. Directed by Michael Fleischer and writers Diliberti and Matthew Sullivan, has denied any direct contact with the film and the tragedy of 2003 Brian Wells Pizza drivers communicate with the pilot, who died from injuries sustained when the bomb collar was forced to use exploded. This terrible event included a bank robbery and conspiracy to kill a rich father. Since the obvious similarities, Well, the family is outraged by the film, which is seen as a satire, a sad event for a laugh.

While this reputation can do for a good title and make a short film with little free publicity, Eisenberg representation of a so-called Wells-like character could be characterized as "flattering" and supports the family version of Wells history. The 2003 survey of government bank robbery held that Wells was a co-conspirator, but he might not have known that the bomb he was carrying was real. His family has disputed this conclusion. Perhaps a saving grace, takes 30 minutes or less in one direction these events even more outlandish. No one could seriously confuse this comedy with the tragedy that took place in the real world. And if the film is in bad taste that will surely come with the territory.
